Software developer CV example
This example is for a developer with about three years of experience building web and mobile apps. Technical hiring managers scan for three things: what you built, what you built it with, and what difference it made. The CV answers all three for every role and project.

Why this CV works
- Each bullet starts with an action and ends with a result, such as faster load times or fewer support tickets.
- Technologies are named inside the bullets, so the reader sees how each tool was used.
- Links to real work (GitHub, portfolio) are included in the header and projects.
- The skills list is grouped and limited to tools the developer can discuss in an interview.
Tips for writing your own
Link to work people can see
A GitHub profile or portfolio with two or three tidy projects is worth more than a long list of languages. Make sure the links work and the repositories have a short README.
Don't list every technology
Only include tools you could answer questions about. A shorter, honest list is more convincing.
Mention mobile money or local integrations if you've done them
Experience with payment APIs, USSD or SMS gateways is valuable to many employers in the region.
